X shivered against the cold, smooth feel of silk as he slid onto the bed. He felt vulnerable and exposed in a way he'd never felt before, a stranger in a strange land. His excitement fought the fear, the tension, combining and multiplying into a heat that set his skin alight and accented every slightest touch.
"Shh," Y whispered, lips next to his ear, breath hot on his neck. "I'll be gentle."
"I know," X said sheepishly, blushing. "This is just... such an exponential change for me."
Y smiled, amused by X's endearing shyness. His hands traveled in fleeting touches across his chest as he leaned in to kiss him.
"Once we get this down," Y said, with just a hint of thrill in his voice, "we can add Z to the equation."
X moaned in anticipation, arms looping around his lover's shoulders. Y reached to dim the lamp. Together, in the darkness, X and Y filled the space between their bodies, adding together to become one.
