And another one done in a single day.
I hope I can keep this up.
Another concept for a potential character in Smash Remix.
Of course, I gotta make a concept for my number one wanted character in Smash.
Shantae!
A half-genie hailing from Sequin Land, with the ability to transform into different animal forms, via bellydancing.
Her signature attack is her Hair Whip. But she is also a capable martial artist, which not many people know these days (because those moves were only in the first game).
She is the guardian genie of Scuttle Town and defends it from anyone who dares attack it, such as her arch enemy "Risky Boots" and her gang of pirates.
Though she is often fired for stupid reasons, by the incompetent, gluttonous Mayor Scuttlebug, only for said mayor to regret the decision later and getting her job back.
But yeah, so much for the concept.
I based her design on her artwork from the original Shantae game on the Game Boy Color.
While her face, specifically her eyes are based on her in-game sprites from that game
As they fit in well with the artstyle of the original Smash Bros.
The GBC design also fits the best with the time, the original Smash Bros was released.
So yeah, another one done.
