Description
A new series I'm trying to do. Mighty Max Doom Zone Playsets. Me and my brother had a bunch of these. They were fun to play with and collect. With a number of different gimmicks that help with the play factor in each toy, every set was visually appealing. As far as I can tell, each one has a monster figure as well as a bad guy figure. If I could, I would collect a number of them and have each displayed on the wall. This is my attempt at an action display diorama. Trying to show as much as possible. With as much detail as I can add. What you'll notice with all of these pieces, is that I didn't include the appearance of the toys opening hinge. I think it was a good choice.Another one of my favorites. The playset by itself looked awesome as well. This opened up to reveal a very eye pleasing jungle scene. My guess is that the designer of this toy added the wood walls as a nod to the King Kong films. I assume that the leaves behind the wall on the right is supposed to resemble a jungle forest area. Not real sure. What I wish I could have shown was the fact that the gorilla figure is standing on top of a dead native that is built into the base of the playset. I made the decision to have the cobra snakes tail hanging out of the area because I knew it would look good. When closed, the back of the gorilla figure acts like the grey patch of the gorilla's head. And the two skulls with blood on top of them are the eyes of the gorilla head also.
I'm working on more Mighty Max pieces. There are about 18 in total. Some are a little bit more elaborate than others. And I hope you all enjoy these. As always, I welcome any and all comments. Thank you. Did any of you have these toys as kids? Which were your favorites?
