I didn’t just want it to be just Molten Freddy using his body as a host, and decided to make it more of a mutual symbiosis; Fredbear uses Molten Freddy’s wires and sharp bits to make a new body for himself, and Molten Freddy takes refuge inside him to stay safe from Henry.
