Description
I stand on the green grass,Wet from the rain
I am staring off into sky
Nothing on my mind but the moment
Nothing in my heart but the moment
There is a great, white light in the east
I look for a moment but have to shield my eyes
Then the wind comes
It starts like a spring breeze
Gentle but strong
But it only gets stronger
Instead of slowing down
And then the trees are groaning
And my clothes whip 'round me
And then I can feel the heat
The incredible heat
Like the wind it shows no sign
Of slowing
And before long I am in an oven
They both rise together
As I smell my hair begin to ignite
My skin begins to singe
And my eyes cannot stay moist
I look back to the east
To see the fungus in sky
And the bright light
In terrible brilliance
I can no longer stand against the wind
I fall as my skin begins to pull away
And fly away
I hear my flesh tear
And sizzle as the wind
Takes it and
The heat bakes it
My bones break
From the unimaginable
Force
And my muscles
Are gone
And my organs are gone
And I am gone
Before I even have
The chance to scream
In horror
At the terrible sight
And the terrible
Surprise
