Meet my dog, Eddy.Finally got to take the digital camera from my office home with me and experiment a bit. I'll submit some more soon.
This was shot with a Minolta DImage 7. I love it!
Note: This photo was shot in color and desaturated in Photoshop, except for the eyes. That is their natural color.

that really is your dog? whew.. the one i know mostly has a mindlessly stupid expression on his face and a used handkerchief in its mouth. also, it smell's awful. and sits on my foot. or haunts its own tail. or licks its own balls. dogs sure are stupid animals.

the dog is beautiful, and this is a great shot, he seems to be looking right in your eyes, almost scary

the expression almost looks like your dog's thinking, 'just hurry up and take the damn picture, or i'll gnaw on your scrotum like it was a chew toy!' lol

Im not quite impressed. Its a good photo in its own right, but something feels wrong, or missing.
Maybe its just the angle. Speaking of which, Im in love with the inparticular view. Its very well chosen. But at the same time, Im convinced that not being able to see the whole face, is contributing to that sense of emptiness.
Like a love-hate relationship.
The clarity of the image is rather mediocre. If it were a bit better, the image itself would definately be much more appealing.
The eyes are kinda neat, but I dunno... theyres justt... not appealing in the least.
Overall Id say that, the image seems like it should be impressive and wonderful, but at the same time is missing something vital that just isnt there.
Its not a bad photo, but its not very good either.

Very nice. They say that the eyes are the most important part of a portrait, and they're certainly captured well here. I probably would have picked this as an airbrushing, the fur certainly; it's got that sort of stylistic quality to it somehow. I like it how you've cropped out any potential distractions. I think it would have been better, however, if the lighting behind you was more diffused, so the reflection in Eddy's eyes wasn't so sharp.

the eyes stand out great by being the only coloured thing in the picture. I really like that idea here. Also the sharpness of the whole picture is fantastic. The cutout is just right and the frame adds nicely All in all I think it's wonderful. A favorite

Num cam can be nice sometimes, this is the proof.
The left part is very well done, the right one is a bit over exposed, but you can correct this after getting it to your pc.
