Grand Pear could abandon his daughter Pear Butter but still loved her. When his time finally came, he reunited with her and she and her husband Bright Mac spend many of the time with him. They have forgiven each other after what happened earlier and they are now like one family._______________________
I made this scene in tribute to my loved grandfather who passed away recently. The origin of this image is one of my last photos of him I took where he was watching TV with a mug of tea together with my mother and she had a cat on her shoulder (yes, a kitten, not a dog ) and she had a glass of wine. In this photo she was sitting like this. For a long time I couldn't decide whether to put Pear Butter since she's been deceased, unlike my mother, or her daughter and his granddaughter Applejack but eventually I picked Pear. Also alternately there could be Opal the cat but it's Rarity's pet so I decided to place Winona.
