beautiful portrait, and beautiful son
my portrait is very lame one, but the line was the idea, and i worked it as an opening, practically took the too halves and separated them slowly until the background showed.

thankss

the line was the main idea in my portrait too... firstly I had the thought of the line, then I looked for a picture to put it

partiallyHere In reply to EintoeRn [2012-08-10 20:25:31 +0000 UTC]

no it's not, i was just trying to see what's inside. turned out to have another layer of protection, even more unreadable than the surface

EintoeRn In reply to partiallyHere [2012-08-10 20:29:51 +0000 UTC]

a layer of protection ! what a great idea ! iconbummiesplz: do you have a copyright? is it allowed to share ?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

partiallyHere In reply to EintoeRn [2012-08-10 20:34:01 +0000 UTC]

EintoeRn In reply to partiallyHere [2012-08-10 20:37:01 +0000 UTC]

but how can it be activated ??? is there a secret code ???

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

partiallyHere In reply to EintoeRn [2012-08-10 20:54:28 +0000 UTC]

i'm afraid some suffering has to be involved.

you can simply use a surgical knife (i can provide this as well)
or you can grow one (layer) of your own due to successive and painful heart breaks

i strongly recommend the first one, much easier i find.

i don't guarantee it will be red, each one has his color

whatever. it seems like a painful process

the asymmetry works so well. the first impression of the red line is that it is going through the figure - but perhaps it is moving across the figure from one side or the other. i know, maybe i'm overthinking... but this is a deep image.

partiallyHere In reply to RichardLeach [2012-08-10 16:24:36 +0000 UTC]

i wish i knew how to make it seem like we're holding the two parts of the person, and trying to tear her apart, to open her just to find this plain red inside.
as i don't know, i just made an incision with a surgical precision.

i didn't think much

RichardLeach In reply to partiallyHere [2012-08-10 16:40:41 +0000 UTC]

ah yes, i understand that idea/image - this is different but very successful i would say, maybe even more.

not thinking much when making art of course!
