Well Bernie Sanders kinda threw his support behind her possibly to keep some of her ways (TPP and Private Prisons) bound and make her more hesitant to support them again with such a popular progressive endorsing him.

The concept of a private prison is so mortifying that it must be resisted at all costs. An institution designed to make profitΒ is not a suitable model for a prison and would be abused in spectacular fashion. The rich would buy their way out of prison (or into a comfy cell) while the poor would be abused and "worked". Look at organ harvesting of death row prisoners in China. That would be on the agenda too if prisons were to go private. In many ways the 21st century is going to become a pretty scary place akin to a Paul Verhoven film. Β I tell you what, all the shootings of Black people (especially that recent incident with the guy laying on the ground with the autistic man) reminds me of that scene in RoboCop where the suit gets blown away at the board meeting by the faulty police robot.
