This reminds me so much of my own cat. During summer I’ll leave the door slightly open for her to come and go as she wants. And when she comes home during the night, she’ll jump up on my bed, purr in my face and let me let her for a bit, and then she’ll jump over to my chair. It makes me really happy each time she does that. 

Most of the time she’ll just hang out in the same room tho. She’ll sit guard by the window on sleep on my bed while I work by the computer. Or keep me company in my garden XD
