This piece is amazing, at one glance I was submerged, in a sea of leafy green, shards of light, rich earthy rain smell with "Somewhere only we know" playing in the background with forest sounds and barking mixed in underneath.

Wow, before I clicked the little thumbnail of the wonderful piece I honestly thought at first that you posted a photograph! The colours, the lighting and atmosphere are absolutely perfect.
It really feels like a somewhat overcast, crisp day outside in nature. Iβm always in awe of artists who manage to create that certain daylight atmosphere, itβs like they can paint with daylight. I get the same feeling with this little beauty for example as when I saw βThe Lady of Shalottβ by John William Waterhouse for real (the one with the Lady sitting in a small boat).Β

I get such a nerdgasm from how realistic those leaves look! Good thing people don't actually get the sort of nosebleeds they do in anime, because if I was an anime character, I bet I would get just that from how awesome this is. Having struggled with trying to figure out how to make bushes look realistic, I can certainly appreciate it when someone manages to pull it off this well. Congratulations! Any tips on how to vary the colors without having to manually tweak it between every stroke? I generally have the problem that I use too few colors or utilize the same color on objects that are supposed to be at different depths, making it look flat.
