There's something mathematically captivating about this; is it the rule of thirds? I like that the upper β
is lighter than the bottom so the gaze is drawn directly to the center.
That pop of red is ideal in the otherwise limited and sombre palette... The windows also get my attention, I think because they echo the straight lines of the building and because there are two rows of panes, they echo the couple too.
I'm thinking you probably paint more intuitively rather than planning it out so much though; idk - do you?
In any case, I like this. Good work.Β
