You just can’t stop being an artist… you don’t learn to be an artist, you just are one.. you learn tools and techniques, you mostly learn how to canalize and direct your creative energy, but you don’t learn how to be an artist.

Evocative as always. c: I like especially the texture and how it works with the blues on the wall, and how the lamp light is cool but not cold, not warm exactly but almost intimate rather than harsh.

This is beautiful.
It reminds me of when I was little and told that a drawing could wait until morning. Instead, I would sneak a flashlight and my art book under my covers and wait for my parents to go to bed. Then I would turn the flashlight on and continue drawing until it was done (or fall asleep on the drawing itself lol).
