They should render 256px, are you sure you loaded them in Candybar 3?

Yeah, I meant to say "Why only 256px?" but my mind was in another place. 
You see, 256 is considered small now, since Leopard now uses 512.

the original icons are pretty old and i dont have the original Shape layers anymore so...
If you really need 512's tell me which ones and i'll update them in the pack,

I have no idea, i guess so,
if not goto the Windows download, it contains all the icons in png format,
also in the themefolders you might be able to extract the dock's theme part by part...
