The lineart is fantastic, but the rest (especially the bed) looks like you smart blurred it. *confused*

which it is! lol, i was too lazy at the time to draw it by hand, but i'm making a wallpaper version thats got vector on the bed and i'll update this one too

Well yeah, but smart blurring is not allowed in vexelling/vectoring.

Please don't come to dA to re-start the silly conversation of vexels vectors and blablabla, thats SO 2002.
just for you let me explain again.
i don't do commercial work, i'm not selling my images, whats the point in creating a vector, it's the result that matters.
a vexel is an entirely pixel-based raster image that imitates the vector graphics style. The word comes from a combination from vector and pixel, since posterized raster images based on photos are just traces of photographs, you dont have to be f*cking good at drawing to make one, but the result is the same, just posterize and smartblur. The fact that vexelling is way more simple then vectoring upsets people, but as i said, i only smartblurred the bed because i was too lazy, see the tutorial made on this image for details: [link]
A vexel is worth nothing in commercial terms, but i'm not doing this for money, technically up until the point that you save a vexel in a jpg you can say it's a vector image just by loading the thing into illustrator, plus, i make my works at a resolution of a minimal height of 6000 pixels, so if anyone wants to buy them they're ok.
If you need any more information about what a vexel or vector is i suggest you read anything exept what they say on vexels.net, because that site consists of purists.
For your information: the huge vexel vector/stuff discussion never really came to an end, and people decided to shutup instead, which works, because people want comments on the work they eventually created, not on wether it's in a wrong catagory, was created wrong or anything else, !NickCreevy did the same to me, checkout that nice ! in front of his name,
i'm not threatening you, just keep discussions like that inside the forums or just not on dA.
Because dA isn't even a real artist, it's a place for friends and fun.
