wonderful photo, i have been to venice and i loved it, it is such a beautiful place and you have captured that in this picture.
only critisism would be that it is very dark (which is good) but if you brought the shade up just a bit it would improve it i think.
very nice photo though; great angle, great setting and the style you have edidited it with does nothing but perfect it.

venice is one of the most beautiful cities i have ever seen. it's simply magnificent. you're lucky to live near venice, i'd love to go there more often.

wow... I'm so glad I stumbled upon this gem.
I love how the greenish hue and the high contrast emphasize the feelings of silence, reflection, timelessness.
Nicely cropped, however, I would like to be able to view it in higher detail than my small monitor will allow. I that text in the reflection of the water or just a trick of the eye?

nicht unbedingt, das mach ich mit meinem nicht gekauften server. st zwar alt, aber fΓΌr webhosting brauchst du keine grosse maschine. meiner ist ein k6-2 450 MHz mit linux drauf, das reicht vollkommen

I didn't get a chance to comment on this at first, so now that I've come back I'll say what came through my mind when I first saw it;
First off, this is one of the most intriguing photomanips I've ever seen.
You didn't try to make it specifically unrealistic, but the way that the houses in the top left-hand corner set the mood as a city while the half-abstracticism at the bottom which could be intepreted as a lot of things (I knew it was water under a bridge in the thumb, but when I full-veiwed it a number of suggestions made themselves clear as to what it could be) and the texture around it have a sort of haunting feel that I really really like.
The pale blue-green colour scheme is incredibly moody too; and how the pale-to-white shades contrast with some of the black...the only was I can describe it is hauntingly beautiful.
This definately deserved the daily deviation it got in December...(oooh, the alliteration)

it feels like theres so much going on in it, but shrowded in shadows, and you cant see and it leaves you to wonder about it.... great pic!
