Description
This is possibly one of my favorite outfit designs (couldn't put my finger on why, exactly, it just is) for my ElfQuest OC, Silence, daughter of Clearbrook and One-Eye. She wore this design during the three years the Wolfriders were living in the Forbidden Grove. This is the first time purple becomes one of the colors incorporated into her ensemble.

Background: Like Strongbow, whose mind is strengthened by his exclusive use of sending to communicate, Silence is likewise considered a strong magic-user because of the similar strength of her mind due to being forced to communicate by sending alone. Unlike Strongbow, however, Silence's mind also has a fragility because of the trauma that had a hand in creating that strength. Which also makes her incredibly sensitive to the effects of Winnowill's pain-sendings. For this reason, despite being considered a magic-user by her tribe, she stayed behind to defend the holt when Rayek took the others to Blue Mountain to rescue Cutter, Dewshine, and Windkin.
