--EDIT--I fixked a few things that bugged me, and added more detail to his eyes. And i made a background with an eraser. You can't tell here, but the pencil is pretty dark in the original, so i couldnt go over it more. So i used my eraser ^^

Cloud, again. I find him eadier to draw, for some reason. I think its the nose (which i am getting better at doing ^^)
The hair, again, took me AGES, but I really really love how he turned out.

I use just some basic art pencils i bought at Zellers and rolled up toilet paper to smudge XD. I just use paper from the dollar store.

lol thanks, i usually use my finger to smudge but it gets messy lol, i get charcoal all over my pants for wiping em off lol. how do i add you as a friend (if you would allow me to ^__^)

The clothes and eyes are perfect, the eyes are alive and the clothes are very detailed and realistic. However, a bit more shading and highlights in the hair could be done to improve the picture, but overall, a wonderful job!

Yeah, I hate doing blonde hair as well, if you add to much shadow, it looks more light brown and yeah...

Nice job with the edit, the eyes look great, alive!!! I must improve at drawing eyes. The shading on the face looks great, looks like where it needs to be. Interesting tint of the drawing, looks brownish. The only thing I can think to fix is the hair. Blond hair has always been something I've struggled to draw. Some parts of this hair should have a bit of darker shading such as in the back and parts in front. Since he has layers of hair, the strands deeper in would have less light shined upon them so they would be a bit darker. Doing this would make the hair look alive. Great work!

ive though of that, but im afraid to ruin the hair. its hard to make blonde hair look blonde with still keeping dimension to it.
The tint really happened in my scanner. Its a bit tempermental, so sometimes it doesnt scan properly. I suppose you could put it under a "happy accident".
