Each of these works are based upon the Black Swan theory, which describes “an event that comes as a surprise, has a major effect, and is often inappropriately rationalized after the fact with the benefit of hindsight.”. My body of work intends to develop upon this idea through proposing the following question: what happens when something so utterly reality-breaking is discovered? What is hiding in our blind spots, and how will we attempt to rationalise it?
