I take a step towards to door,My feet feeling drunken, I fall at the floor,
And it’s not much better down here.
And though greed keeps me going,
Obsession is growing;
One day I will disappear.
My dreams are what lead me,
My thoughts are what feed me,
Greed is what helps me to die.
The stinging of lusting,
The wisdom of trusting,
Obsession’s what keeps me alive.

hmm interesting comparison of greed and obsession.
I thought the length of the stanzas was excellent, kind of short and fresh. Not sure what the contest is but good luck! : )
