ALIGNMENT: CHAOTIC NEUTRAL
A chaotic neutral character follows her whims. She is an individualist first and last. She values her own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. She avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, she would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). -Her father disowned them and their mother

-Her mother adopted Tornkit, who later died during the Great War.
-Left camp with Emberlight to move to PebbleClan, was brought home after nearly losing Morningfrost in the river.

"Patchstar was the Leader before your dad" he told her, "I didn't really know her, but all the older cats around here go on as if she were Starclan's gift to Moonclan or something like that, but she was old and died a while ago, so Fallenstar became Leader after her."
He only just remembered that Vixenkit wouldn't have been alive when Patchstar had died, but a new generation was coming through, a generation that knew only Fallenstar as their Leader, he wondered what the older cats thought of that.

"She's...died?" Vixenkit tilted her head at the new word. "What does that mean? Is she an Elderer Elder?"
As far as she knew, her dad was the only leader MoonClan ever had, she was unaware of all the traditions and cycles involved with them.

"Dying is like..." Springkit tried to think how best to explain it to a young kit that obviously didn't understand the concept, "Well when you die you don't live here any more, you go to live with Starclan, they're a big Clan that live in the stars, they would have been the ones that gave your dad nine lives." This was the best sort of explanation he knew, and was similar to the one that his mum had explained when he'd asked her almost the same question when he was younger.

"How do you get to the stars?" Vixenkit wondered, craning her head back to look up at the sky. All she could see was treetops, but Timidbreeze had assured her that the stars were just beyond the canopy of leaves overhead. "Do you have to walk...?" She was obviously a little too young to understand, but she was curious nonetheless.

Springkit tilted his head, following her gaze to the canopy of leaves above them, this was something else that he wasn't sure of, "I think Starclan comes to get you when it's your time and then you sort of fly up?" His tone certainly suggested that he wasn't sure, "I suppose you have to get to the Stars someway," flying seemed like the only logical explanation.

"Whoa," Vixenkit mewed with kit-like awe. "That's cool."

"I suppose it is" Springkit agreed with a grin, "shame that the only time you're able to fly is when you die, I think it would be pretty cool to fly all the time. I heard Birchpaw complaining the other day about not being able to catch birds, I'm sure that would be easier if you could fly."

"If I could fly, I'd just live on the sun." Vixenkit nodded as if it were an absolute fact. "Or maybe the moon. Because I'm in MoonClan. That would be better, I think." She mumbled, nodding to herself again.

"The sun sounds like it might be a little too hot," Springkit thought it over, "but the moon sounds like it would be an interesting place to live, I suppose you'd be at the centre of silverpelt there," he grinned, "I suppose that makes Moonclan the best Clan."

"Yeah!!" Vixenkit fluffed out her chest, feeling a sense of pride. "Who'd want to live somewhere hot anyway. I like the shade! The sun makes my fur too hot."

"My fur gets hot in patches he told her," sitting down with his back to her, so she could see the dark speckles and dark markings on his tail, "it only ever gets really hot where my fur's darker."
He supposed that he should be grateful, he'd heard Sootkit complaining before about how hot he always seemed to get, whereas he and the rest of his siblings had paler coats like their mother.

"Weird," Vixenkit grinned, poking at the darker spots on Springkit's pelt. "I wonder if there's a reason why."

"Starclan's will I suppose" Springkit shrugged, this seems as good an explanation as any, besides, once you started opening doors like that, it was near impossible to just shrug and say 'Starclan's will I suppose'.

"Probably," Vixenkit nodded, trying to seem intelligent by agreeing with her Uncle, when really she wasn't sure if StarClan would cause spots to grow hotter than the rest of one's coat. She shrugged it off though, deciding mentally to worry about it later, perhaps ask her mother about it.

"So I hear you have a lot of adoptive siblings?" Springkit asked, "Well I already know Cottonkit, but I hear that weird looking one as well... I've forgotten what his name is though."
Springkit was the sort of cat that went around doing imitations of his sister's ear, so he certainly had no problem referring to Timidbreeze's recently adopted son as a 'weird looking' cat.
Technically Fuzzybee wasn't really his sister, but he liked to think of her that way, the same as he thought of Cottonkit and her siblings as family, and yet... it was hard to think of the bald kit in that way.

"Tornkit!" Vixenkit immediately fluffed up her fur defensively, as if she was getting ready to physically fight with Springkit over the comment. "He's not weird looking! He's completely normal! He just is missing his fur that's all! Nothing is wrong with that."
She didn't think she'd react so strongly to someone saying such a thing about Tornkit...Vixenkit hadn't really interacted with her adopted brother much, but regardless, he was family and family was to be treated nicely, no matter what.

Springkit's fur puffed up defensively, "I didn't mean anything by it" he grumbled, "when something looks different to everything else it is weird, that doesn't necessarily mean anything nasty." Honestly, Springkit wasn't sure if he'd meant it in a nasty way or not, it was sometimes difficult to tell.
He wondered what had happened to Tornkit to make him loose his fur like that, he thought about the fires Mothpaw had told him about, perhaps his fur had been burned off in one of those.

Vixenkit tried to calm down, but her fur remained fluffed up twice it's size. "It may not mean anything nasty but...I wish everyone would stop looking at him differently."

Springkit glanced down, upset that he'd made Vixenkit angry, although he never had been the best at expressing honestly or correctly when he felt guilty about something.
He should probably say sorry, then Vixenkit would be okay, but he was too upset by the fact she'd actually scolded him that he puffed up his face instead, glancing down at the ground with a sulky expression on his face.

Vixenkit looked away as well, avoiding eye contact with her Uncle. Was this was Cottonkit meant when she told Vixenkit that Springkit was bad news?

There was an awkward and uncomfortable silence, during which time Springkit curled and uncurled his tail as subtly as he could. His personal pride and immaturity wouldn't let him apologize, particularly as he'd left it so long now.
"Well why do you like him?" He asked instead, with a sulky tone to his voice.

"Why?" Vixenkit was appalled at the question, turning to face her uncle. "Because...because he's my brother! Don't you like your brothers?"

Springpaw was taken aback, "well of course I do... I suppose..." The honest truth was that he didn't really get to speak to his brothers a lot, of course his stupid sister was always around, but he didn't get on very well with her, she was always behaving like a sissy and questioning everything he did.

"You...suppose?" Vixenkit echoed. "So...you don't like your brothers?" Her blue eyes welled up with tears. How could anyone not like their littermates?

"No, No" Springpaw quickly assured her, "I just don't see them a lot that's all, they're probably out doing something important and... well you know the sort of thing," he didn't really know what sort of thing it was that kept his brothers away from him, but he was sure it was something very big.

"That's still....so sad," Vixenkit nearly sobbed. She spent so much time with her family, especially Morningkit, that the very concept of hardly seeing each other was foreign to her. She figured it was probably because they were fighting or didn't like each other that Springpaw and his brothers avoided each other!

"No, no," Springpaw panicked, quickly trying to comfort her, "I'm happy see," he put on a big smile, "I've got lots of family like you and Morningkit that I can talk to."
Springpaw did have to admit that in his social circles, even the circle of his own family he did seem to revolve around the female side a bit too much, something that was ironic considering how difficult he usual found it to reason with their silly over-dramatic species. In his family he knew his sister would always be there, even if they were fighting at the moment, his mother always had her eye on him and then of course there was Vixenkit, Morningkit and their adopted siblings.

Vixenkit sniffled, smiling as well at the sight of Springpaw's smile. "Okay," she reluctantly agreed. "I'm glad," even though she didn't fully buy that he was happy without his brothers, the thought that he would enjoy talking to her or Morningkit just as much made her feel better. He did still have family, which was good, even if his brothers weren't a part of it.

"So, how about I show you some neat stuff I learned as an Apprentice" Springpaw suggested, hoping to change the subject for his own sake as well as hers. He hadn't been taught any fighting moves yet, but Dayfeather had told him that he basically had the hunting crouch sorted now, so he could show Vixenkit how that worked.

"Okay!" Vixenkit grinned excitedly, her eyes flashing with excitement. She had seen some of the apprentices practicing their moves within camp, and longed to one day be able to do the same.

"Okay, this is the first thing that every Apprentice learns," he bent down into the Hunting Crouch, carefully adjusting his limbs to make sure that they were in the right place, keeping his tail off the ground so he could demonstrate, "This is the position you have to be in while hunting most prey, I think it's different for birds and rabbits, but it all has its basics here."

Vixenkit gasped. She's seen this move before! Silversoul had used it when she had caught some prey outside of camp, showing Vixenkit how. She'd looked so beautiful and regal, and Vixenkit had constantly wondered about the form. Now here it was! Springpaw was showing it to her!
She dropped into the crouch as well, trying her best to imitate Springpaw's form.

"Right" Springpaw nodded, holding the position a little longer so she could see where everything went, before correcting himself into a normal standing position and walking around her to make sure that she had everything right.
"It'll feel really uncomfortable if it's not quite right" he told her, "are you comfortable?"

"Um, sorta," Vixenkit admitted against her better judgement. "I feel like if I move a paw, I'll fall over."

"That means you're not quite in balance," Springpaw repeated the words Dayfeather had told him, pleased that he'd remembered something from his training.
He nudged her paws carefully to ensure that there was a little more space between them, using one of his own paws to keep her upright to make sure she didn't fall over while he was adjusting her position, it still looked a little clumsy though, "is that better or worse?" He checked.

"It's better," Vixenkit nodded, "but still a little weird," he tail was flicking back and forth as she tried to stay upright.

"Ah well, I'm not a Mentor" Springpaw shrugged, "I'm sure you'll get your own when you're an Apprentice," he studied Vixenkit, "how old are you again?" He'd lost track of counting.

"Four moons old!" Vixenkit mewed, puffing out her chest proudly. Though she didn't look it--she was still small for her age, due to her premature birth, but she was more than ready to become an apprentice.

"Wow, so I suppose you're only a couple of moons off," he grinned, "that means we'll be Apprentices together, that'll be pretty cool," he straightened himself up, "we can trade techniques and things like that, I hear that different mentors often have different moves and tactics, if we help each other out then we'll know as much as two mentors."

"Really? You mean it?" Vixenkit's eyes sparkled with the thought of sharing secrets and training with her uncle.
