Well, Josh is helping Sidetable Drawer and Mailbox out with their dinner date as a waiter.

K: And?

And he doesn’t even know what they want, so he’s stuck playing an actual game of Blue’s Clues to figure it out.

K: So? What does the tomato have to do with anything?

That’s actually the first clue, but the fact that they’re in Fandom City, and that there’s talking veggies and fruits living in Fandom City, Josh thinks that the tomato is alive and talks to it, not knowing that 1, it’s a regular tomato, 2, Mailbox and Sidetable were seeing Josh talking to said tomato, and 3, the tomato is a clue.

K: Oh!!! *stifled laughter* Okay. Now hearing the context, it is pretty funny. Josh thinks that the first clue is a living tomato and talks to it, not knowing that it’s a clue AND people are watching him!

Exactly! It’s almost like one of the official Season 2 episodes of the reboot, Blue Makes a Movie with YOU. Josh is hearing the first clue, but it’s so loud that he’s covering his ears. The viewers try to tell Josh about the clue, but Josh doesn’t know what they’re saying, because of all the noise that he’s hearing. After a bit of a vocal raise from the audience, Josh finds the clue, saying that the first clue is loud, but at that moment, the noise stops, which brings everyone around him into laughter. Clearly, Josh is slightly embarrassed there. And in this case, when he finds out what’s happening, he’s going to be embarrassed again.

K: Oh boy. But, one important question, what are Sidetable Drawer and Mailbox having for their dinner date?

Well, let’s just say that Sidetable Drawer and Mailbox might just kiss from one pasta noodle.

K: …spaghetti and meatballs.
