Now this is a great game! I wasn't to sure about it at first because the first got really old too quick.. Very repetitive.But Assassins Creed II is so much different, it's addictive, enjoyable and impressive!
I just had to make some artwork on it! The first thing that came to my head when brainstorming the scene was a nice high view. It's the best way to portray the game I think, since it's revolved around climbing tonnes of buildings and taking out targets.. I was originally hoping to make him look like an eagle somehow.
The main character Ezio's outfit is awesome too, such an improvement from Altiar's, so it was fun to draw
Anyways enjoy

As usual your work is astounding, I love the guard expression and the over all feel of the shot. Your right about the high angle you chose it adds some raw emotion to the whole scene.

Most people didnt notice but Assassin's Creed 1's 'templar owned organizations' concept matches the Freemasons owned organizations.
Who knew conspiracy theories could be this fun? XD
Eagerly awaiting AC2 for the PC to piece the second part of the puzzle.(Note:It is rumored EVERY historical figure has done 'satanic rituals' to attain such positions and Davinci had powerful friends alongside his career...

It's not like we expected anything else but this is, once more, a breathtakingly beautiful masterpiece. I've not even played the first part of this game, but as if all the trailers weren't enough to make me yearn for it, this amazing artwork finally pushed me over the edge... Sooo going to play those games asap...
The perspective is perfectly chosen, it seems to enchant Ezio in a special way, making him completely independent from the world's laws like gravity or even the effects which emphasizes the effect of him seeming to just.. pop out from another dimension. Maybe the adorable details of his costume are also responsible for this but the whole pose and angle of view just make him seem even more powerful.
Maybe he doesn't look so much like an eagle but he definitely radiates a very similar feeling of danger.
And, of course, as usual the sheer amount of details in the background as well as their perfectness (or what seems like it anyways) again take a great role in making the piece look so very alive it's more that hard not to immediately start dreaming about Ezio's world, wanting to share this atmosphere and his mind-blowing freedom.

ANYWHO.
This is fantastic. The unique angle, the powerful pose, and the 'old' colours. Not to mention this image really tells a story...like the guard has just seen Ezio out the corner of his eye, haha! Fantastic job.
