Wow just in time, today's the day James Cameron's new movie AVATAR screens in cinema's! I've been waiting along time for this, SO KEEN
I really enjoyed making this one, it's pretty different to my usual stuff. I'm a bit of a fan of the Sci-fi/Adventure movies or games! This movie struck me when I saw the trailer, reminded me of Abe's Odyssey for some reason.
The background took me the longest in this, I'm not used to creating jungles, I did have to search for a few references to look at and just put my own style to it.. I love the style of the environments in the movie
Anyways enjoy, and go see this movie!

lol I've got a Wacom too! Very well done. If they decide to make this series a comic book or something, I vote you for characters design. God knows they's raped it in every possible way already, so it's be nice to see some GOOD merchandise turned out.

Lovely action and very nice style...great symmetry. I did notice that it looked a bit low vibrancy when in my favs gallery (if you want to check it out). So imo a bit more luminence would help (glow and colors of objects reflected on the surface of other objects).

hey has anybody ever read The Winds Of Altair. i think maybe james cameron drew a lot of his story from it. its about a man who using a machine is able to transfer his mind into a member of an indigenous species of six legged puma like creatures of the planet Altair. Jeff Holman is determined to terraform Altair VI into a home for the people of dying Earth. But he discovers that Altair VI hides a terrible secret, and he is faced with a soul-wrenching decision--for to make Altair VI habitable for humans, all native life must die. Including a race as intelligent as Man. i have to say im not very far into the book but its deffinatly a good read, especially if your a fan of avatar.
