Facebook page: [link]This was my first experience of the game.. True story!
I was just checking out how sweet the graphics looked through the forest until a damn Zombie spooked me, and since I was fresh to the game the closest thing I had to a weapon was a pack of band-aids and a bottle of water.. So I sprinted, and this one zombie was just as quick as me.. I spotted a small town and headed toward it thinking there might be another player there who could pick him of for me with a rifle.. Nope, instead I was greeted by a swarm of Zombies looking for some num nums.
So this picture explains my next 20+ kilometers of running.. Haha I loved it though, strangely! Great game, it'll be even better when it's made into a legit title that's easy to set up.
I also made the main character myself haha, this will be my new ID.. Enjoy!

Brilliantly done. A few words of advice when it comes to 'runners'.
1) Avoid large, flat areas.
2) Avoid tight, cramped areas.
3) Don't be this man.

playing resident evil back in the day a friend of mine asked me how i'd handle it. I told him I would have two guns... one to shoot zombies and I'd run around with the other stuck in my mouth with "a hollowpoint bullet!" just like Martin Riggs!

Usually this ends one of three ways.
1.) You evade the zombies.
2.) You get eaten by the zombies.
3.) A bandit sniper puts one in your noggin'.

Incredible. Both the art work and how you captured the feel (terror) of the first experience. It was the same for me except it was night and I eventually found myself running on the tracks for km after km.

lol something I've just noticed. When giving this image a cursory scan, it looks like the guy fleeing is holding a pistol in his left hand. The ragged bits of cloak from the zombie on the right that circle the mans thumb resemble a trigger guard, the zombie behind his hand in the distance forms the body of the gun.

haha. This is exactly how I felt my first time playing DayZ before reading your description. Seems to be I assumed there would be friendlies in town as well! Guess we were both wrong! Great artwork though!
