FFFFEEWW!!! That was a mission..Haha I guess I just can't get enough of GTA IV fanart hey? Well I wanted to do something different for once, to challenge myself. This was really time consuming, but I loved every minute
I wanted to capture the game as it is, to really grab the city and the life of it and show it in one single scene.. By using reflections and shadows I've tried to make it seem like there IS more around that you can't see.. BIG learning curve
- Done in about OOOOOOOOH 20-25 hours
- Photoshop CS2/ Wacom Tablet
Haha you can tell Niko's been driving that car behind him hey? That's actually my fave car in the game

I love the cops expression lol, he seems he knows the man well enough that he is just waiting for him to slip up.
The scale of the city is great, but like heartless-nobody pointed out, I think Neko stands out way too much and covers an ample amount of the city, but either way it works out really well in the long run. Good work

Another Master piece by Mr. Brown! Kudos on this. Detail is fantastic and as always lends to the image. Subtle reflection in the building of surrounding buildings is great! I see the pigeons. Do I have to shoot them? What a waste of time. After 15 or so. I had a break down and left all of them alone.

If the goal was to create an immersive background, I think I would have made the whole picture wider. Right now Niko takes up so much space that he's getting all the attention no matter where you look in the picture.
But this is still freakin awesome. The level of detail is just killer.

The details are enough to kill any sane artist dude, brilliant work, I think you captured the scale and scope of the city without missing a heartbeat.
All the pedestrians going about their business in the background as well look really natural and non static, awesome work dude, keep at it.
