I thought I might share some more of my official Marvel work, these are characters I've done for promotional art for the new Spider-man animated series, which is out now, such an awesome show and I'm absolutely stoked I got to be a part of it.Here's Green Goblin and Spidey in a chase together.

The details on Green Goblin's costume and His glider are spectacular. The way you've depicted the expressiveness of his face (or mask in this case) is very much appreciated by me. He comes of as threatening, manic and mischievous simultaneously. The background detail on the skyscrapers is AMAZING. the pigeons are impressive too. The angle you're using in this is inspired and very well executed. However there is one glaring flaw. The coloring on Spider-Man is really flat and the lack of detail on his costume relative to everything else in this picture really makes him stand out in a bad way.

I seriously hope this will be the return of the Joker-like version of the Green Goblin. I hated the Hulk-like version in Ultimate Spider-Man. Green Goblin is my personal favourite Marvel villain.

To be fair the one in the Ultimate Spider-Man show was actually accurate to his Ultimate universe counterpart (quite honestly in my opinion i found him to be the only real good villain of the show).Β

Yeah I have to agree the shows not good.
But arts still awesome as always.

Ugly-ass backgrounds, no shading on the characters, continuity errors, other signs that the animators are rushing their work just to push out a product rather than a quality show...yeah, "awesome" is totally the word.
Had this been art for Spectacular Spider-Man, I would agree. But Marvel's Spider-Man is the kind of crap where two teenagers can build some tech for a college acceptance project, and five minutes later be using said tech to fly through the city in combat because this stupid show is that stupidly desperate for superhero battles.

What did you think of Spectacular Spider-Man?

Spectacular is the best. I've only seen a few episodes of the 1990 Spider-Man, and my favor stands with Spectacular. Fluid animation, smart and creative action choreography, believable drama, and unlike [cringe]Ultimate Spider-Man[/cringe], Spidey's witticisms are actually witty. Hopefully Greg Weisman is asked to do a third season of Spectacular, like with Young Justice.
