Ok well I wached The Dark Knight AGAIN! And felt like doing another Joker pic, I was originally going to just have Joker by himself but I thought this might add a little more to it!I was actually just sketching for the fun of it, then I kind of liked how the sketch came out, then I got a bit carried away haha! I'm glad I did this, I'm feeling back into the swing of things now (after my little break). So expect to see more art, more often

The Joker is one of the most liked characters and there are so many versions of him out there, I'd love to know where mine fits in haha!

Okay, well I can't do a proper critique because I don't have a premium membership (hint, hint...anyone?) but I absolutely love this piece. Massive fan of the Dark Knight, so the topic is perfect for me. After you explained it in the description - you can see that Batman might have been a bit of an afterthought, but I think it still came out just perfect. It all fits together really well. My take on some of the other critiques' criticisms is that it could look like Batman is missing his legs, but I think the position and perspective could mean that you can't see them (though it's more likely that they were blown off by the sheer awesomeness of this picture). Also, regarding the grip on Batman's neck: I think the position is just fine, and, to me, I think it shows what was intended and it wouldn't be necessary to have a full-on rear naked choke for this.
Anyway, the ambiance and colours are perfectly in line with this series of Batman movies. The smoke is great. The texturing is great. It really is a stunning piece. I hope you don't misunderstand when I say - in the context of dA - "I'll be watching you!"

Your style is awesome and your level of detail is amazing. Though, I do agree with others when I say that the absence of Batman's legs seems a little awkward, that does not make this piece any less amazing. Plus, I'm a sucker for Joker/Batman related artwork.

Heath Ledger Joker is imo the best version of Joker ever portrayed. Great job, i think you really captured his character in this piece.
