Description
So I decided to go all the way with the sketch I did of Wolves, and for a change I thought I'd keep the original sketch as the lines for this piece, instead of my usual clean/crisp lines. I think it keeps that gritty grunge feel that a Wolverine picture needs
Good old Hugh Jackman, the legend himself! Apparently they're doing another Wolverine movie... I think.. But hopefully.

I prefer your sketchy lines versus you clean/crisp lines. But that's a biased opinion as that is how i work too.

Just love your work my man. Great form on this image, solid structural stylized anatomy as well. Nice and sound. Also been loving the recent stuff even more, every image. Really digging how you keep pushing and experimenting with poses, anatomy style and dynamic and foreshortened composition. Much respect chum, seriously admiration.
As for me and Wolvz, I try I try.

Thanks Wade, seriously thanks! Yeah I always like to experiment with poses and such, it keeps things interesting. Man you would have to be one of my oldest DA buddies, I remember years back when I found your Wolvy pics and watched your art from there.. Thanks again for the comments, helps my motivation

I really like how you beefed up this version of Jackman's wolverine. That was always an irk to my annoying fanboy tastes that got me, that he was too skinny for the roll. This looks seriously just perfect! The angle is great!

Why is there no blood on his claws? Oh well, awesome anyhow... it has that "alone" feeling, with everything around being, seemingly, burning, and Wolverine just... angry. He's gonna f*ck sh*t up!

Nice colouring Patrick! I saw the pencil work and though NIIICE very dynamic and with the colour it's even better. I would love to see a Mystique and/or X-23 character

I would just say that I know the director has told Hugh to "Bulk up" because her is too tall and needs to look more stalky like the Wolverine character. So I think this image based off of huge make him look a bit too tall..but still very nicely done
