This was one sketch that I thought would look so much better if it was in color, so I hope you deviants dig it.Created in Illustrator background done in Photoshop.

Very nice I like you're style I think I'll watch you for a bit.
The length of her left (shoulder to elbow) to is a bit short. Either that or the foreshortening is off. In human anatomy the elbow usually lines up with the naval. With her her elbow would stop at the bottom of her sternum (the plate bone that holds the ribcage together in the front/center of the body)
The Right arm is great. You simplified you're curves very well. It wouldn't surprise me if you were and animator. If you're not you should try. With a light-table if possible. Flash is ok but I prefer old school myself. Also you can animate in Photoshop CS2 and above, if you had a Cintique or were good with a Wacom tablet you'd be good.

Thanks for the helpful critique. A lot the time I tend to ignore correct anatomy because I'm usually trying to nail down the pose. Short arms can often be a problem especially for a sith.

By the way I would greatly appreciate it if you checked out my gallery. I rarely get visitors seeing as I hardly post, comment, or fav stuff. I'm usually far to busy with work, updating my portfolio, and trying to get a job in my field.

You definitely know your anatomy so you're fine there. As far as your portraits go, when you do them in pencil, really make sure that the eyes are your focal point. If you don't, the face tends to flatten out and your audience won't make the desired connection.

Oh yeah sorry its in another post but just how would you make the eyes the focal point. Add more detail or contrast? I'd like to get you're advise on how. How would you go about it.

Oh go babies I hate drawing babies. Nothing could be harder. The only baby portrait I did was done from a picture. The person wanted me to do it from life. My response was laughing long and hard.

Y thank you. Believe it or not I'm legally blind color blind and light sensitive. An i chose art as my carer hah.
I probably never focused on the eyes because I can't make eye contact due to my vision so that's probably a good observation.
