Planet Eltar is the home planet of the great interdimensional wizard, Zordon. Eltar was inhabited by a lone fallen Seraph named Zeta, who used the last of his energy to create beings like himself before going into a long slumber. These wingless seraphs became known as "Eltaryan," which literally translates to "one without wings" in the Efymaks ban Rystvak.

Eltar is described as a beautiful planet supporting multiple different climates, with golden beaches, white-teal water, blue vegetation, and majestic purple mountains. As opposed to clouds, Eltar experiences constant auroras in a short ultraviolet spectrum (from purple to blue-green).

The planet has five distinct seasons: a spring-like season called Raevyn; a summer-like season known as Estylon; Jemoran, an autumnal season; Soltar, a wintery season; and Barrym, a neutral season during which the sun is not directly seen for 3 Earth months, but is instead refracted through the planet's crystalline rings.

Eltar is sort of "Constitutional Monarchy," in that it has a royal family with impressive legal power, but it is regulated by the Eltarian Council and the Universal Council.
