Description
Previously seen in my account,This IR shot is from one of my favorite little parks. It's not too far from work so sometimes at lunch I have a chance to go for a little walk. Usually I bring a camera, of course.
This IR shot, made with my converted Nikon CP 5700, shows the "false" colors so popular with IR photography. I say false colors because the sky actually appears a faint red straight from the camera. I suppose if you live on Mars it might look fine, but to my Earth-bound eyes I prefer the sky to be blue. A little channel-swapping and contrast adjustment and it's ready to go!
Specifics:
Camera: Nikon Coolpix 5700 converted to IR
File: jpg
Finishing: Curves and levels. Swapped channels for color effects. Custom dodge and Burn.
