Description
Spero vi piaccia almeno quanto piace a me.

ENG This one took five days to be done, I drew it fast, but I was a bit puzzled on the coloring, so the whole process took me quite a while.
Five days is a record for me, but I am proud of the result as it came out exactly like I hoped it to be.
I'd like to thank 's tutorials, that let me understand some essential trick about the colour process.
I'm still not as smart as him, but I'm slowly improving.
I've made this illustration thinking about the moment when the oracle says to Aang to let it go. His look should be a metaphor of that, he is looking far away like he was thinking how to do that and, above all, why to let go. As if he was focusing on his inner seriousness just to succeed. As if he was about to say goodbye forever.
I found out the font some time ago, and I thought I could "represent" Aang through its symbols. You can find their meaning below here (I hope they are correct).
Here you can find the sketch and the Indian Ink versions [link]
I hope you will like it as much as I do.

This is gorgeous.
I would expect, with the kanjis you used, (chile, boy, good, love . . .) for him to be softly smiling. But I love his expression anyway.

By the way, when you were talking about "letting go" are you referencing what the guru said to Aang in the second season . . .?

I was wondering about that, really.
Doesn't it seem like love (either for a person or the world) would enhance your spirituality, not detract from it?

I really love this part, I truly believe in the power of the chakras. But what I love most is Aang succedes in the use of the power without leave Katara

Yes. That's what I think too. I guess he does succeed in being "aware" in the avatar state, because he stopped himself.
And he learned energybending.
