my final for the 'Inside' range of work

Our task was to design a 'visual response' from the poem 'Introduction to charlie'.

This is meant to show the different viewpoints people could come away with after the reading the poem, as its very abstract there isn't one clear view of whats going on.

I researched nearly every word in the poem to find out their alternate reading (in an attempt to decipher what the hell the poem is trying to tell me). Most words have multiple meanings and its the context theyre in that decides which meaning we pick. In a poem like this one, with so little context (does that make sense?) the words can be taken very differently. Is the poem about growth and getting close to someone whos cold or is it about pain over another person?
