This was made with my Wacom Volito tablet. It's all freehand.
I had this idea some time ago but I was too affraid to draw the transparencies. Have been avoiding it...
So, I finally found some courage to let it all go. It didn't hurt that much. I'm not too pessimist about the result. Although I needed some reference to draw the animal body.
That, in case it doesn't look like one, it is a Fissalia ,a living organism (or several organisms each one with a specific function) that lives at the surface. I read about it some time ago and it really fascinated me.
It represents the society here...
Ok! That's enough!
So, hope you like it. This is nothing visually spectacular but I decided to submit it because it is important to me.

Anyway I had to think of the embryos from the matrix and I thought this is definatly worth the print

PS. Os freehands, ultimamente são mais digitais. Desisti de submeter trabalhos a grafite. O meu scanner estraga tudo. Argh!

The different textural and tonal approaches to this piece is a bit disjarring, theyre not exactly complimentary, but yet they are, and they just seem to clash into something wierdly wonderful.
the fetus is handled greatly, theres a good sense of three dimensionality and more importantly surface, you used layers nicely for that part.

It reminds me a lot of the album cover for De-loused In The Colluseum by The Mars Volta.
This is great, your worries were for naught; this pice is amazing. The amoeba like texture the whole picture has, and how the colors below the fetus look like you just stroked down and let it fade out, giving a dream-like appearance. You deserve any praise and mula you get
