I don't care what ANYONE says! I fuckin' love HOUSE OF LONG SHADOWS! It is a guilty pleasure of mine! I admit it's a pretty awful film, it's a predictable film, and the worst of it is Desi Arnsi, Jr who is just ATROCIOUSLY UNLIKEABLE in the film, but these four -- they MAKE this film worthwhile! This brings back a FLOOD of memories. Honestly, I don't know if this film is even available on DVD; I still watch it via VHS, although it's probably been three years since I've seen it last and I believe I saw it when it reran on TCM.

I like that you make this look like an Expressionist painting, where you use these strange but beautiful broad strokes. There's something very Edvard Munch's THE SCREAM about it. I like that.
