It is currently unknown exactly where Duck was at the time of the explosion, or what happened in the events leading to "We'll Meet Again." However, in said video, Duck is seen reversing at high speeds into the Killdane Ironworks, then seen stopping, likely hoping he'd escaped. However, Oliver, who had now become a monster and had been titled as "The Beast" is seen following him. Duck, seeing this, begins shaking in fear, slowly backing away until he hits the buffers at the back of the ironworks. At this point, The Beast corners him, as Duck is seen shaking intensely, looking around desperately for a way to escape. The last time Duck is seen alive is him shaking in fear, staring in horror as "Oliver" transforms into The Beast. The Beast then kills Duck by first ripping out his eyes, then stabbing him in the forehead and then hollowing him out entirely.
