"Our own Dimetrix will RISE"

Finally posting this after 84 years. Damn,it took ages. The timing of this image couldn't be weirder,but I have a excuse. This was supposed to be the big picture I wanted to post on the 1 year anniversary of Dawn of the Dimetrix. The story of this drawing is a bit long but in summary:

Started this at the end of July; progress continued to be made in August;the annviersary soon arrived;drawing was not completed;I chose to delay the drawing instead of posting it on the day cus I didn't want to rush;I posted this instead ; progress continued;I lost inspiration around mid-September and I went to do other things;flash-foward to mid-October I finally decided to continue it;I finished the drawing in the first half of November;I forgot to post because I was busy with other things;and now,with free time on my hands,I could finally post this.

Possibly the biggest drawing I've done this year. And to think that all that effort was for the anniversary of an album. I don't think I should say this with pride.
But in the end,that effort resulted in a cool drawing,and something for me to post on this account to remind some people that I'm not actually dead,so something good came out of it. The idea for this drawing dates back to 2020,back when DOTD was still in production. Of course,the vision I had at the time was quite different,but the overall concept (Abrahm on top of a stage,the Dimetrix in the background,and rows of "soldiers" in front of a stage, etc.) was the same. So it's nice to see this idea finally break out of the "just an idea" phase and become something,you know?

I'm glad I waited longer to do this drawing,not only because this idea works much more better now thanks to all the information available about the IRIS universe so far (vs what we got in 2020) but because I think the result would not be so good if I had done it with the skills I had in 2020,compared to what I have now in 2022.
This drawing must have one or two imperfections that I ended up not noticing when posting,but honestly I don't really care about it right now. I won't touch this drawing anytime soon,that's for sure.

I don't know how to end this so uuuhhhhh to whoever is reading this,hope you had some happy holidays. Or just had a great day if you don't celebrate anything. Stay hydrated,eat plenty,stay safe and go listen to the DAGames Founders Pack #2. (And go listen to DOTD too.)
Now, if you'll excuse me,I have to go continue another drawing that's been taking ages to finish. Yay.
