Updated - 09/10/2013My take on Teela's Ceremonial Serpentine Sword and Staff.
In my fan-fiction MOTU cannon, Adam and Teela grow up together until she turns 12 years old (Adam being 10). At that time she enters into a kind of martial arts "cult", as part of one of Eternia's ancient religions/traditions. There she becomes a combat expert and her "spiritual animal" (the serpent) is assigned to her. She returns at the age of 18.....
