i love the look of weathered hands. the pearl bracelet seems a bit out of place, but i like the ring. and it's nice that you got the picture when the little bird's mouth was open.

This image really strikes a chord with me because a while back me and my family found a baby bird like that in our backyard.
Our cat was the one who found the bird and we stopped him from eating it but though we tried really hard to keep the bird alive it still died.
You capture the confusion of your bird while it is being gentle held and the lighting effects leave an ambiguous effect.
