Description
This is my submission for the NovemberThe reference is by the very talented who gave us permission to draw from her gallery. This is the original reference
I am dedicating this drawing to some very lovely dA friends who helped me with the distortion for the hourglass. So and : this one is for you, thank you so much again

Hot Pressed Watercolour Paper
FC Polychromos CPs
Tiny amount of white acrylic
Time: about 18 hours

While I was drawing, I also wanted it to be sadness, but the Sands of Time and the hourglass were to symbolise that time heals. Other people have taken different things from it too, so that's great

No problem! I usually feel awkward in trying to convey my awe and appreciation for another artist's work, but I always feel they should know what a wonderul piece of art it truly is. I'm just glad you could understand the message, as I tend to get carried away, or to stray from the point 
Oh goodness! That makes it even more beautiful! Actually I cling to that the thought of time healing wounds: to me it makes it easier to get up when you're knocked down.
Of course there was room! I really am excited to see your future works, and I shall plan on leaving comments on most of those as well (that is, if I can find the words)! Once again congrats on the wonderful DD, and I hope this piece gets the recognition it deserves!

I'm so glad you did and aren't you fantastic with words!! I popped into your gallery (not for long enough) and what I had time to read was full of emotion, I'll definitely make time to go back and read properly! That's such a great gift to have

Yes, I quite enjoy writing. I'm sure there are many areas I still need to improve, but I'm content with it.
Oh I'm sure they will be! No worries: I basically like all types of art. As long as it's creative, I usually love it to pieces! So you just do you and I'm sure I'll stare in awe at the finished product

Practice is all it takes, I wasn't able to draw portraits just over a year ago ... at all! But determination got the better of me until I got there
