Plot: In the debut of this American manga-anime, action-adventure flick, a group of East Los Angeles high schoolers, Joey, Suzie, Steve, Justin, and Scott, had agreed to partake in a rare street-racing tournament in order to determine which graduating class would win $40,000 in grant money. In the fictional Thaddeus A. Markus High School, Joell "Joey" Hanks, a junior, who is the best street-racer in his graduating class had to compete against Zeke Lee-Jackson, who is the best street-racer in the twelfth grade in a street-racing tournament that would take place during the prom weekend. Whoever won the street-race would, not only win $40,000 in scholarship money, but would be considered as the best class in the history of Thaddeus A. Markus High School.
