Don't expect everything in life to make sense, it won't. We are each spiritual beings, with very capable
intellects, who live in physical bodies. Mix all those levels of perception together, and very rarely do you
get a linear pattern of behavior.
Best we can do, imo, is grasp fundamental precepts and axioms of life and go from there. One of em is change.
Nothing lasts as it is, nothing is permanent. I'm not just talking about people, events and objects. Those are like ripples on a pool of water. The pool itself is constantly changing. How much change, I wonder, till it feels like a different life?
