Wow; this is why I stay around on deviant art for masterpeices like this. What did u use for the refrence for the ship? Firefly or Wind Commander? Something else?

Really dont now exactly, the idea was to build a ship without the nice polish carriage
So I think it s much a mix of my passive references (homeworld, R-Type and many others)
than precise references.
There are a lot of video games references (passive or not), in many categories, in my pictures
because its one of my passion and my job ^^.

It reminds me of a Firefly ship, like Serenity: [link] from Joss Whedon's TV show/movie.

this is absolutely adorable. so much detail, but still the rough strokes. the light is great, too. this ship looks like it's living - eager to go out... it is unimaginably for me to do something like that in such a small amount of time!

It's like what would happen if a lambda class shutle from starwars and the dropship from aliens made a baby then then the baby grew up like all industrialised with a shipload of armour that would be like this ship ,except even then that ship would be like a younger brother to this one.

when I say "It looks like Serenity" it sounds like I'm saying "It looks like peacefulness" (at least in my mind it does). The 'the' confirms (in my mind) that it's an actual thing.

but if they ever decide to finish it, it won't be the same, cause all the actors have changed :/
+ the movie was probably just made to "satisfy' the fans, like here is the plot, now we don't need to make the series, too bad, cause it must have broken the man that he wasn't able to finish it
