One of two last photos from 2016 photoshoot. Why now? Well, I've got new tattoo and it just happens that Rose Quartz is on it ( if you want to see it you can check my instagram - @gruszyslaw ). So with that I thought it would be nice to post another photo of that cosplay, because this exact cosplay inspired me to have this tattoo.ย
This costume (more than cosplayed character itself alone) is very important to me for self esteem reasons. It was my first costume in which I felt like "the right person in the right place", I felt beautiful in that costume despite that I wasn't really slim or tall and for the first time I really felt right in my own body. It's creazy how many good emotions cosplay could bring. What's more, with that cosplay I decided to start fanpage and instagram. And last but not least thanks to that costume my mother and younger brother went to their first convention (because my brother was playing Steven in our skit) and they loved it and from that day they started to visit conventions at least once in the year!
So yes, this costume will always has special place in my heart (and now also on my armย <3)
