thank you so much to everyone who tried out, we had a really hard time deciding the winners & we are very much grateful for the love that this litter was shown!! winners of the kittens have been privately contacted! <3
tryout rules:
this is a set of write to adopt tryouts exclusive to clansofthe-valley , they are not up for purchase & will not be used outside of the group.
both non-members & current members of cotv are allowed to try out for any of these kits!
non-members, please be sure to read through cotv's information before applying!anyone interested in trying out is more than allowed to try out for multiple kits, but may only win ONE kit.
because these designs were made exclusively for cotv, should you win a kit but.. if you fail to get their application in, become inactive shortly after winning your kit, have your rights to the kit you won revoked by us ( the tryout hosts ), or leave the group, we will be taking the design back & rehosting the kit for tryouts.
[ NOTE: we reserve the right to take back a kit for any reason we see fit. ]
while making art to accompany your tryout is fine, we would prefer that you keep the art private and only post it to your tryout until tryouts are over! this is to avoid intimidating anyone from trying out.
[ NOTE: we will not be judging tryouts based on art, and you will not have an improved chance of winning because of art. ]
tryouts are being accepted exclusively through the google form listed below. this is to keep things a bit more private, & organized! tryouts that are not sent through the form will be ignored.
before trying out, be sure to read through the tryout notes & the google slide document listed below, which includes ALL information on the kits, their parents, & how they will be raised.
while physical sexes cannot be changed, your kit is allowed to idenitfy with any gender you wish!
designs should not be changed, but you're free to make adjustments as needed! ( ie: changing amount of stripes or stripe patterns, adjusting markings, applying a ban. )
tryout notes:
both frecklecall & robinsplash are cats with complicated histories, families & character flaws. because of this, the litter won’t be raised under perfect circumstances. however, it is important to keep in mind that these ladies will do their very best for the litter, & are extremely loving & devoted to raising their kits.
- however, this doesn’t mean we’re opposed to conflict later down the line when the kits are above apprentice or warrior age! we’d just like the family to have a little bit of peace and happiness when the kits are.. well, kits!
starclan’s blessing is pretty much what it sounds like. starclan blessed this couple with kits that they created, but the kits themselves don’t remember anything before being found by their parents— they just know that robinsplash & frecklecall found them, took them home, & are their parents.
since both frecklecall and robinsplash are from snakeclan, this litter is exclusive to snakeclan!
we have also left some OPTIONAL headcanons for the kits on the slides featuring the information about this litter! they're just something we wanted to implement to add a little bit more, but you don't have to adhere to any of them!
since this litter were made from starclan's blessing, they will be coming into cotv at a starting age of 2 months old! this is important to keep in mind, as winners will only have 4 months to finish their kits' rank up requirements, which myself & kanii are more than happy to help with!
tryouts will end on... 02 | 02 | 2022, winners will be contacted privately when they have been chosen, and this announcement post will be updated accordingly.
