I enjoy mimicking the styles of other artists, and for a while I've had the idea of drawing coiling pictures in the style of my favorite childhood illustrators.I finally actually did one, which is in the style of Richard Scarry.
Pictured here are Noah the boa and Tom the cat.
Is Tom enjoying his hug? You decide, I guess. Scarry's characters' expressions are kind of vague.
