Description
Psya the Elephant is my main OC and a co-protagonist of Sonic Magic (the other being Amethyst). She is the Power Type member of Team Magic and Team Renegade. Her teammates in Team Magic are Amethyst the Rabbit and Midnight the Cat, and her teammates in Team Renegade are Fuchsia the Swan and Noir the Hedgehog.

Personality:
Psya is generally serious and free-spirited. Even when she was created, she always had rebellious tendencies and the desire to live her life the way she wants. At first, she can seem intimidating and maybe even confrontational. It does not help that she is cynical too. Despite her demeanor, she is actually rather outgoing, fiercely loyal, and has a sense of humor. She is also overprotective of those she cares about. One thing that is clear to anyone is that while she is serious, she is not stuffy. With her unruliness, it would be more accurate to say she's anything but stuffy. She is also surprisingly gentle with the Flickies, the first friends she made. She originally did not use any contractions in her sentences due to her creator not using any, but over time she picks up a more casual manner of speech.

Background:
Psya was created by a mysterious creature named Vitamortem. The first thing she remembers after waking up is being blasted by the finishing touches that would unlock her ability to use her power. She was created to serve him on his conquest to rule all life, and then after this was accomplished, she would be disposed of so her life force could be recycled to create stronger minions. Not wanting her life in vain like this, she escaped, also taking the liberty of destroying his entire army. She flew off far away into the forest, far from the desolate place where she was created. Once there, she vowed to get her revenge on Vitamortem for giving her her predetermined life by taking his life.

Powers:
Normally, Psya has enhanced strength and can use her trunk as an extra fist, or as a straw. She used to have the abilities to transform into a Dark Magical Girl form and to fly, but later gave up these abilities so she just has dark magic without needing to transform to use it. She has dark magic because she was created with impure intentions. Her dark magic is powered by dreams, either her own or others'. Nightmares especially make her stronger. Her magic also gives her telepathy. When she uses the Chaos Emeralds and the Emerald Wand combined, she can achieve full power through Sparkling Form. Sparkling Form gives her full power, but unlike Super Forms, Sparkling Forms do not give invincibility. Her main weaknesses are her anxiety conflicting with her mind powers and her need to sleep to refuel her energy and powers, which gets worse the more uses of her powers she does at a time.
