that book was really good, I spent al day yesterday reading the whole book
I love Shadowsight and how fuckin weird he is compared to all of the other cats. Like, the other two POV characters are worrying about their relationships and whether or not they're liked, and Shadowsight is just like "oh Starclan's telling me to jump into this flood? Done." or "oh Starclan wants me to go into limbo for a bit? I'll eat a deathberry"
It's really cool to have a med cat who's actually totally devoted to their job, especially after a history of med cats who ignore the rules when they feel like it.
