Description Okay just one seagull and one shipwreck. A Turkish ship which ran 'aground' months before this picture was taken. It may still be there now. (Bloubergstrand, Cape Town, South Africa) Not the prettiest one I've ever seen, that's for shore, I mean sure! I think what I like best about this pic is how golden the sand is, sparkly. Oh and the bubbly water.

No you're not crazy, I do think it's a creepy ship as well I mean, it's not even a passenger ship, like one of those luxury ships for guests, it's pretty ugly Hehehe. So maybe after it's wrecked like that too it can seem haunted even Thanks very much for your great comments and also all the supportive faves Hope you are okay So did you live near the sea before? If you say you miss it.

Yes, is a very creepy ship It's a good ship for a horror movie lol

I used to go to the sea every summer when I was a child/teen, to my grandmother sister's house (I guess is "great-aunt" in english but I'm not sure) The sea reminds me of her too, well she pass away long time ago, and I could't go to that house anymore. So the sea makes me sad and happy at the same time, that's why I love it and is so special for me. And of course I love your pics, makes me remember

Thanks for asking

Yes But I think they shouldn't waste their time making a horror movie with it
Thanks for telling me about your visits to the sea when you were younger Yeah that's a great-aunt It is sad when places we loved are no longer 'accessible'. The house that I lived in from when I was 4 got sold after my parents divorced. And I suppose it would always be a little sad to think it's someone else's. But that's so long ago now. It's funny though cos my parents called the house 'Melodia' after my name and that sign remained on the house even after other people were living there for years. I wonder if it is still there. Of course I have always lived near to the sea. I mean a few minutes drive. So anyway, it makes you nostalgic, the ocean I can understand that.

No problem
Yes, to be honest I think of the future as being better than the past ever was, so thankfully, yes, good memories are things to hold in the heart, not things to wish for. I mean, I never wish to return to some other time in the past, it was never perfect anyway Thanks and yeah I hope I can take it easier some of the time. Even though I always have new things I need to write in my book, sometimes I have to pause and do other things or else kind of 'rest'. I do listen to my heart Take care!

"good memories are things to hold in the heart, not things to wish for", I really like what you said, because normally people wish for the past instead enjoying the present, and we have to enjoy the life that was given to us (or I least that's what I believe )

Take care you too!
